April is here, which means Easter is coming. It’s time to start making plans for photos, egg hunts, and good things to eat. Houston knows how to celebrate, so we’ve rounded up six different events to get you started on your planning.

Photos with the Easter Bunny. This fun tradition is alive and well at Memorial City Mall. Dress your kids in their Easter finery and head to the mall any day until Saturday, April 20th. The Easter Bunny is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays, near Zara and Forever 21. Families with special-needs children should mark their calendars for Sunday, April 7th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. That’s the day of the Bunny Cares sensory-friendly event, so kids with sensory sensitivities can meet the Easter Bunny in a calmer environment. Pet lovers living in Houston can come on Sunday, April 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. with their pets for photos.

If you’re planning an event for Easter itself, get in your egg hunting early on Saturday, April 13th. TitleMax Houston will be hosting an egg hunt at TitleMax Title Loans, 71 Uvalde Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the hunt, there will be several local vendors, so grown ups can get in some fun shopping, too. Visit the Facebook event page and RSVP to reserve your spot.

Get out in nature and have a fun, active time at the Easter Games, hosted by the Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center. Kids 12 and younger can participate in bunny races, spoon races, egg rolls, and more fun Easter-themed games on Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring a picnic and enjoy lunch at the park. RSVP for the event starting Wednesday, April 10th. Find more details on the event Facebook page.
