The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was originally put together in order to serve charitable, scientific and educational purposes.  The aim was to promote and encourage the furthering of better livestock and farm products at fairs and to promote educational programs within that same livestock industry.

Each year, there are pre-rodeo event, a livestock and horse show, some amazing music and concerts, a whole host of fun attractions and activities, and of course, the main event, the rodeo itself.

When can you check it out?

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will be in action from February 27th to March 18th, 2018.  Weekday performances will begin at 6:45 p.m., while weekend performances will begin at 3:45 p.m.  Each day will begin with a rodeo competition, and then after all of the dust has cleared the air, that day’s entertainment will take the stage.
